Here are the most popular questions from the previous week. You might find a topic related to a question you have.
Q: I have had customers that were taking the CardioClean and it was helping to keep their blood sugars down. Now that it is discontinued, what products are you recommending that l suggest they take?
A: First, the Genesis PURE products are not intended for the purpose of treating health conditions like diabetes. If an individual has diabetes, we recommend you advise your clients to consult with their physician to determine whether or not our products are right for them. Our products are intended to provide nutritional support to an otherwise healthy diet. It is interesting that you found some success with your clients using CardioClean to help them maintain healthy blood sugar levels. While not their primary purpose for being in CardioClean, there were some ingredients in the product that have been shown in preliminary research to help maintain healthy blood sugars levels already in the normal range. One of these ingredients was noni juice. Both animal research and preliminary clinical studies have shown noni juice appears to have some promise in this area, so you could suggest the use of the Noni superfruit juice in its place. Another product with some research supporting healthy blood sugar maintenance is HealthTrim Green Coffee Bean. Interestingly, green coffee bean has also been shown to maintain healthy blood pressure levels as well. At this time, we do not have any immediate plans to replace CardioClean, but we are carefully monitoring this area and will look at other possibilities in the future. CardioClean contained B vitamins and folate as well as an antioxidant blend, among other ingredients. Our Daily Build product, a multivitamin with superfruits, greens, sea vegetables, and botanicals, is an excellent source of these ingredients. Mila and HealthTrim 360 Complete Shakes are good sources of fiber, which has been shown to support blood sugar maintenance.
Q: Does the GPS Rebuild contain glutamine?
A: Glutamine is an amino acid that plays a key role in protein metabolism and new muscle growth. When we are stressed, the body’s demand for glutamine increases. Our Recovery product was created to be used after your workout. The main ingredient is creatine, 30,000 mg, which increases the body’s ability to produce energy rapidly. There is L-glutamine in our Pro-Arginine and E2 products. Pro-Arginine was created to be taken before your workout to help support growth hormone release, nitric oxide production, muscle energetics, and superior muscle growth. Our E2 product was created to be taken before your workout to deliver nutritive support while providing energy and mental clarity. We’ve revamped our entire GPS line giving it an easier, systematic approach to working out. New action-oriented names help you identify the proper function of each product and sleek new packaging is color-coded to represent the best time to consume the products for an amplified workout. We hope you try all the products in the GPS line.
Q: Do the HealthTrim 360 Complete Shakes have gluten in them? Do they have any stimulants that effect blood pressure?
A: While many Genesis PURE products have no gluten-containing ingredients, they may be processed in facilities that also process gluten. Therefore, some cross contamination may occur. 360 Complete Shake contains barley grass which does not contain gluten; however, barley is an ingredient that may have come in contact with other gluten-containing grains and are at a high risk for cross contamination. Other Genesis PURE products may be made on machinery that also process gluten-containing ingredients. If you are extremely sensitive to even the smallest amount of gluten, we caution against consuming Genesis PURE products. The potential for cross-contact with other gluten containing grains and ingredients is relatively low, but if you have celiac disease or a severe gluten intolerance, we recommend consulting with your physician before using Genesis PURE products. 360 Complete Shake does contain 33mg guarana, a natural caffeine-based stimulant. Guarana comes from plants in South America. It’s more dense in caffeine than coffee beans. The American Dietetic Association suggests no more than 200-300 mgs of caffeine a day, which is equal to not more than 2-3 cups of coffee a day. Studies suggest that people with high blood pressure limit their caffeine intake to 200 mg (two six-ounce cups of coffee) per day or less.
